What this app is
Family To Do is a personal task and daily dashboard app. It helps signed-in users manage tasks, self affirmations, weather widgets, and Google Calendar events.
Information we collect
When you use the app, we store account identifiers from Firebase Authentication, task content you create, self affirmation content you save, widget configuration, selected Google Calendar IDs, weather location rules, and cached widget summaries.
Google Calendar access
If you connect Google Calendar, the app requests read-only calendar access so it can show upcoming events in your Today view. The app does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. Google refresh tokens are encrypted and stored server-side. Calendar event data is fetched only to display your selected calendars in the app.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the app experience: syncing tasks, showing your Today widgets, remembering selected calendars, caching recent weather summaries for offline use, and keeping your preferences available across devices.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Data is stored using Firebase and Vercel infrastructure. Google Calendar information is used only for the Calendar widget and is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Your choices
You can disconnect Google Calendar from the Today view at any time. You can also remove the app's access from your Google Account permissions page. Deleting tasks, widgets, or self affirmations removes them from the app data store according to the app's normal sync behavior.
